Situated 1.5 miles above the village of Saint Jean d’Aulps in the Portes Du Soleil region of the French Alps, the L’Ourson apartment building was built in 2005 as part of the expanding Grande Terche ski area at the time.  Both the main village and local ski community are valued for their space and tranquillity; qualities that are increasingly rare in the better-known local towns of Morzine and Les Gets.

We bought L'Ourson 12 in December 2023 and set about making it fit for modern living whilst adding a few changes here and there that hopefully make guests feel just as at home as we do.

As a family of four we love everything the Portes du Soleil region has to offer - all year round - whether that’s skiing, cycling and walking or exploring the local area and enjoying the local French food and drink.
